The Hydrant Restaurant London

Hello Guys!! Yesterday I had the pleasure to be in a very different place as usual in London.
My friend and I, googled about organic restaurants in central London and appeared so many of them, finally we went to this one called The Hydrant which is based in London Bridge
 ( monument street).
It´s a two floor American, brick restaurant, which serves all organic and fresh meals.

The decoration was completly bohemiam and creative, I really loved the way they created a fake sky with those continued linked lights on the ceiling.

They have so many beers, ciders, alcohol and cocktails or drinks to serve, for us we ordered two blossom ciders.

Definitely I love creativiness and original ideas to decorate a place, and that one is very simple but the atmosphere is lovely.

They don´t have so many options, just a few entrances, bread, steaks, fish, veggies, salads or burgers.

My friend and I we ordered a veggie meal, the same one called : pumpkins, broccoli and almond buttery cream dish.
Absolutely gorgeous, at the beginning I saw the dish with sadness because the quantity wasn´t to much as we desired when specially you feel starving; but at least after eating all of them,  I felt fully.

The veggies were very good cooked, the flavor was absolutely delicious creamy and not very sweety or buttery…and the pumpkins looked fried but not oily.

After that delicious meal, we decided to have a dessert….yes, love them!!
If I remember clearly, they have three options in their menu and we went for different ones.

I picked the chocolate brownies with compota fruit sauce, whipped cream and icecream on top. I was melted…was a huge size , so much brownie in there. I loved it but for me was very chocolate and the brownies to sticky ( impossible to chew).

My friend wished a sugary, fruity pie that I don´t remember  the name exactly.
It was like a pie, with  brown sugar inside mixed with flour, hazelnuts, strawberrry and on top brasilian almonds with vanilla icecream ball.
He told me he enjoyed so much and he will repeat it again.

Maybe that dessert would be great if they add a little bit of whipped cream, or any dessert sauce, because its to dry.

The atmosphere was excellent, the service was great and they were so cheerful, and the place was really good, totally recommended; if you have the pleasure to visit them go ahead, you will like the meal, the drinks, the service/ attention and also the mood.
