The FD Festival in Estoril
As the name says is a food festival, in a large green garden located in Estoril, a little area from Portugal.
A couple of friends and I, we decided to enjoy that wonderful sunny weather combined with a lovely sea and gardened views, with an extra that is almost important every time in our lifes....food!!.
The entrance is totally free to the openair place, but if you fancy to try dishes, meals, food...you have to buy tickets for 1 euro and try different choices.
They have burgers, kebabs, pizzas, hot dogs, italian meals, indian meals, american dishes, and also cakes, and desserts ( umm so yummy).
In my opinion the prices are very expensive compared with other places and the quantity of the meal.
I ordered couple of stuff and honestly i enjoyed them but not at all because the dishes were for "smurfs".
My friend and I went to try the gourmet burger, was delicious but 5 euros i think it´squiet expensive for that size and no drink even no chips. The meat was lovely, well cooked and nice fresh bread.
Then, we found that lovely caravan which sells crepes with different toppins ( chocolate, caramel, whippedcream, peanut buttered, m/m, smarties, oreo, crunchies, etc).
The price was quiet expensive with the size of that crepe which was eating in two bites.
4.50 euros.
I think the most likely stuff it was the retro vintage stufff they had.
I fall in love with those pinky flowers!!!!! So adorable.
As I mentioned before, that was the crepe that I had....yess....poor me!!! that is for a trial not for eating.
My other friend she ordered a lovely yummy hot dog, and honestly the price of that is rasonable compared to my gourmet burger. The sausage looks fresh, big, meaty, and with a lot of crispy toppin....omg every single time i see that i melted!
They also gave waffers trials with chocolate in a paper cone, omg!! that was delicious i´d love to buy a pack of little waffles for sure.
After that, well at the same time, we ordered half moon potatoes with ali oli sauce.
Ali oli its a very andalousian sauce made with mahonaisse, bassil, olive oil and garlic.
Look at that yummy waffle with chocolate and almonds toppin!!! Im sure my friend enjoyed quiet a lot that one, was big and soft.
That was all about that day guys!!! Hope you found it interesting , sure I made yourself hungry.
Thanks for reading and waffle your day as much you can.
xoxo
