Walking down Alfama area in Lisbon, we found a lovely, big and vintage place called Cultura Portuguessa coffeeshop. The best place to chill out listening to music and drinking or eating something.
The coffeestore is located in Sra. da Gloria street, in a very high street in Alfama. It´s very quiet, clean, organized and the service is really good.
The design reminds me an old library combined with a boho look.
At the beginning looks like an old library, but when you get there you can see that is just a huge poster pretending a fake bookshelves.
It has somany pictures posted all over the brick all, and so many lugagges on top, seems a place
to take your mind away for a bit.
Also inside the living rom, there is a huge worldmap and a classic clock.
I didn´t try the hot chocolate, but on the feedbacks I saw positive comments about it, and also a huge recommended hot drink after the black coffee and cappuccino.
I had a lovely warm capuccino with doublecream, honestly, was a very nice one for 2.50 euros.
Also there are so many things to have in the menu, with good prices, and made freshly.
Muffins are so good, very chocolated, and pasteiss the nata. My matte decided for a expresso black coffee for 0.75 euros.
Definitely, it´s a place that I can recommend highly if you want to be chilling out, listening to music, have a chat or reading a book.
Obridaga!!!
